In 2006 I attended my first ever Blue Man Group concert. The opening act was something I was not used to. I had been to concerts where a smaller, lesser known band opened for the headliner, but at this event the opener was a disc jockey/video jockey named Mike Relm. Mike used clips from TV shows and movies as well as music for his performance. He created remixes live on stage using turntables to distort the music as well as forward and reverse the video. On his website, MikeRelm.com, he has multiple remixes of popular movies from recent years. The one that I am going to be looking at is his remix of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Ludacris’s “How Low”.
